We take immense pride in celebrating Republic Day at Excel, where our primary goal is to instill patriotism, civic awareness, and national unity among our students. This year’s commemoration was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. Sanjeeb Kumar Patjoshi IPS, the Director Central of Police, Kerala, who hoisted the flag in a ceremony filled with pride and respect.
Following the flag hoisting, the chief guest, Dr. Sanjeeb Kumar Patjoshi and our Associate Director, Mr. Ashwandh Sreekumar, shared inspiring messages that resonated with the spirit of the occasion. The parade, a vibrant display of discipline and coordination, featured the participation of NCC students, the school band, and scout students, captivating the audience with their stellar performances.
A significant highlight of the event was the launch of the moment ‘My Safety, My Responsibility,’ a pivotal initiative inaugurated by Dr. Sanjeeb Kumar Patjoshi. This campaign emphasizes the importance of personal safety and civic responsibility, aligning with our commitment to creating responsible and aware citizens.
To deepen the understanding of safety issues, students from both the central and global sections showcased the innovative ‘STEAMscape Gateway.’ Furthermore, primary grade students from both sections passionately enlightened everyone about road safety and electrical safety, showcasing their dedication to fostering a culture of safety from a young age.
The festivities reached a crescendo with an awareness rally titled “My Safety, My Responsibility,” led by students from NCC, Scout, and other enthusiastic participants from Grades 8, 9, and 11. This rally not only served as a testament to our commitment to safety but also demonstrated the unity and determination of our students in promoting responsible citizenship.
At Excel, Republic Day is not just a celebration; it’s a reaffirmation of our dedication to nurturing well-rounded individuals who understand the value of patriotism, civic responsibility, and the importance of safety in their daily lives.
