Excel Educators Empowerment: Igniting the Path to Excellence

The year 2023 marks a significant milestone for Excel Group of Schools as it embraces the Jubilee Year of Paradigm Shift. The school is dedicated to redefining the 5A’s concept (Arokya, Attitude, Academic, Artistic, Athletic) through S2CTR insights, which emphasize a holistic approach to education. The vision of our School is to transform each and every student into a focused leader of high intellectual caliber and moral integrity, enabling them to reach the optimum level in their chosen fields. The Excel Global School in Chennai hosted its teacher orientation program on May 24 and 25. For Excel Central School, Thiruvattar instructors, it took place on May 30 and 31, and for Excel Global School, Thiruvattar, it took place on June 1 and 2.

The strategies and initiatives that will be implemented to achieve the theme of this year are

Problem-Based Learning:

Problem-based learning will be a key strategy in fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills among students. By presenting real-world problems, students will be encouraged to analyze, research, and develop innovative solutions, thereby enhancing their learning experience.

Flipped Classroom:

The flipped classroom model enables students to access pre-recorded lectures and resources outside of class, fostering interactive discussions, collaboration, and hands-on learning in the classroom for enhanced student engagement and understanding.

Excel’s Interdisciplinary Integrated Learning Approach through STEAM:

Excel Central School will embrace an interdisciplinary STEAM approach, integrating Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. This fosters creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving by exploring connections between subjects, empowering students.

Collaborative Level Learning:

Excel Central School prioritizes collaborative learning, fostering teamwork through group projects, peer-to-peer learning, and cooperative problem-solving. This approach nurtures communication skills, empathy, and social interaction, benefiting students’ holistic development.

Effective TPQ Technique:

The Effective Tools Patterns Questions (TPQ) Technique fosters meaningful communication and engagement between teachers, parents, and students. It encourages active participation, reflection, and feedback, ensuring a holistic approach to student development and growth.
