Pongal celebrations at Excel Group of Schools! Over the course of two delightful days, our students, teachers, and esteemed guests came together to partake in a variety of cultural programs, traditional rituals, and heartfelt acknowledgments.

Day 1 Highlights:

Students from KG to Grade 3 (Central and Global School) experienced a memorable Day 1 filled with festivities.

The day commenced with a formal assembly, fostering unity and excitement among our young participants. Diverse talents took center stage in cultural programs, featuring captivating dances and songs by our budding performers. Mrs. Brindha Sreekumar, our Managing Director, delivered a special message, instilling inspiration and motivation in our youth. To further enhance the spirit of togetherness, teachers from each grade prepared delicious Pongal, creating a delightful feast enjoyed by all.

Day 2 Extravaganza:

Grades 4 to 12 (Central and Global School) took center stage on Day 2, immersing themselves in traditional rituals and enriching experiences.

“Thrilled to share the success of our unique Pongal celebration under the ‘Each One Plant One’ initiative. Our school community actively embraced sustainable living by preparing 15 delightful Pongal dishes. The event featured Chief Guest Dr. Y. Raja Kumar, inspiring insights, and a focus on agriculture. We encouraged students to cultivate home gardens, promoting environmental consciousness. Managing Director Mrs. Brindha Sreekumar and Associate Director Mr. Ashwandh Sreekumar conveyed heartfelt messages, while students honored 10 local farmers. Environmentalist Prof. Sudhamadhy was recognized for her unwavering support during paddy field cultivation, and cultural performances added flair to the festivities. This celebration not only showcased our cultural richness but also emphasized the importance of sustainable practices and unity.”
