Embark on a journey to explore the insightful sessions that unfolded during Excel’s Mentorship Initiative Programme at Philosopher’s Hall. This event brought together mentors from Excel Central School and Excel Global School for a four-day exploration into the world of effective mentoring, fostering a culture of continuous growth and learning.

Mr. Binu Kumar, the esteemed Principal of Excel Central School, took the stage to share profound insights on ‘The Art of Being an Ignited Mentor.’ His session delved into the nuances of mentorship, emphasizing the significance of passion and dedication in guiding young minds. Mr. Binu Kumar’s engaging discourse set the tone for the program, inspiring mentors to kindle the spark of curiosity in their students.

Following this, Mr. Padmadhas, Principal of Excel Global School, delivered valuable advice during his session on ‘What Mentors Should and Should Not Do.’ Providing a roadmap for effective mentoring, he outlined key do’s and don’ts to guide educators in their mentorship roles. This insightful session equipped mentors with practical strategies to navigate the challenges of guiding older students through their academic and personal journeys.

The experienced mentor, Mr. Porgio, shared valuable advice, consolidating key takeaways from previous sessions. This collaborative gathering fostered a sense of community and shared responsibility among faculty members.

The event spanned four days, with mentors from KG to Grade 5 participating on January 4th and 5th, and mentors from Grade 6 to 12 engaging in sessions on January 8th and 9th. We express our gratitude for the impactful sessions provided to the mentors of the Excel group of schools.
