On September 3, 2025, Excel Group of Schools celebrated the vibrant festival of Onam with grandeur and enthusiasm. The day began with the creation of a beautiful and colorful Athappu (floral carpet) that added to the festive spirit. Teachers showcased their cultural talent through the graceful Thiruvathira dance, performed around the decorated floor, creating a traditional and joyous atmosphere. Students also performed dances, sang songs, and presented a mini orchestra to entertain the crowd and celebrate the essence of Onam.

The celebration was honored by the presence of the Managing Director, Principal, Vice Principal, and other dignitaries, who joined in the festivities with great cheer. The Chief Guest made the occasion even more memorable by encouraging the entire audience to stand up and dance together, making it a truly engaging and interactive moment for everyone present.

A variety of programs and competitions were conducted to mark the festival, including class-wise Athappu making, cultural performances, and traditional Onam-themed activities. The celebration extended to the Fourth Ground, where exciting games such as tug of war and beating the pot were organized, filling the air with laughter, energy, and camaraderie.

The event concluded on a sweet note with the serving of traditional payasam to all, leaving everyone with cherished memories of unity, culture, and festivity.
