On December 2, 2025, Excel Global School celebrated Chef Day with great excitement and creativity. The event was designed to provide students with a hands-on, experiential learning opportunity by transforming their classrooms into a fully functional restaurant environment.
Classroom Turned into a Restaurant
The classrooms were creatively set up to resemble a real restaurant, complete with a bill counter, kitchen area, serving space, and seating arrangements. Every detail was thoughtfully planned to give an authentic restaurant experience. Students actively participated in designing the layout and organizing the space.

Roles and Responsibilities
Students took complete responsibility for managing the restaurant setup. They performed various roles such as chefs, servers, cashiers, and hosts. They warmly welcomed guests, greeted them with polite manners, and guided them to their seats, reflecting excellent hospitality skills.

Menu Planning and Presentation
The students prepared their own menu, showcasing creativity and thoughtful planning. They explained the dishes confidently to the guests, enhancing their communication and presentation skills. This activity helped students understand the importance of teamwork, planning, and customer service.
Learning Through Experience
Chef Day offered students a practical understanding of how a restaurant operates. Through this activity, they learned valuable life skills such as responsibility, collaboration, leadership, time management, and creativity. The hands-on experience made learning enjoyable and meaningful.

The Chef Day celebration was a great success, providing students with an engaging and memorable learning experience. The event highlighted Excel Global School’s commitment to experiential education, allowing students to learn beyond textbooks while enjoying the joy of creativity and teamwork.
