On July 2, 2025, Excel Group of Schools, in collaboration with the STEAM Exploratorium, celebrated World UFO Day with great enthusiasm and curiosity. The event was designed to spark scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and imagination among students while exploring the mysteries of the universe.
The celebration was enriched by the presence of Dr. Arun Surendran, Principal of Trinity College of Engineering, and an esteemed alumnus of IIT Mumbai and Texas A&M University, who graced the occasion as the expert guest. His participation brought immense value to the program, bridging the gap between science, technology, and imagination.

Dr. Surendran delivered an engaging session on space science, aeronautics, and the possibilities of extraterrestrial life. He inspired students to question, explore, and think beyond conventional boundaries, highlighting how scientific curiosity has always been the foundation of human progress. His talk encouraged learners to approach the mysteries of space with a balance of rational inquiry and creative imagination.
Students actively participated in interactive sessions, discussions, and presentations, sharing their perspectives on UFOs, space exploration, and future technologies. The event created an atmosphere of wonder and learning, allowing students to see how science can transform seemingly impossible ideas into innovations of tomorrow.
The day concluded with words of gratitude from the school management, making World UFO Day 2025 a memorable celebration of knowledge, imagination, and scientific spirit at Excel Group of Schools.
