As the world’s largest youth-run organization, IIMUN embraces the spirit of “Vasudhaiva Kudumbakam” – One Earth, One Family, One Future.

Event Venue and Participants:

Held at the esteemed Excel Group of Schools, Thiruvattar, the Kanniyakumari Chapter brought together students from institutions like Excel Group of Schools, Adarsh Vidyalaya, Raja International School, Pearl Matriculation School, and SRK International School.

Opening Ceremony:

The delegates were warmly welcomed by the school management, setting the tone for an inspiring event. The Opening Ceremony, graced by Mrs. Brinda Sreekumar, Director of Excel Group of Schools, and Chief Guest Dr. William Selvamoorthy, Dean of Amity University, New Delhi, commenced with a captivating video narrating IIMUN’s journey. Mrs. Sreekumar emphasized IIMUN’s role in developing life skills and patriotic fervor. Founder Mr. Rishab’s motivating speech and Dr. Selvamoorthy’s presentation on India’s achievements added to the event’s grandeur, concluding with a cultural show by students.

Committee Activities:

The second day witnessed intense deliberations across 11 Committees, each with its agenda. Delegates showcased their talents alongside addressing challenges, presenting speaker lists, and passing resolutions. Entertainment acts infused energy into both participants and the audience, fostering a dynamic atmosphere.

Final Day and Valedictory Session:

Committee meetings continued on the third day, leading to the passage of numerous resolutions. The valedictory session featured Ms. Vijayadharini, MLA of Vilavancode Constituency, as Chief Guest. She interacted with delegates, commending their active participation. Appreciation was extended to Dr. C. Sreekumar, Chairman of the school, by Ms. Vijayadharini. Mr. Ashwandh Sreekumar, Associate Director of Excel Group of Schools, expressed gratitude to the IIMUN team.

Participant Experiences and Awards:

Participants shared enriching experiences, affirming IIMUN as a platform for interpersonal skills, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving. Awards, including Best Delegation, High Commendation, Special Mention, and Verbal Mention, recognized outstanding achievements.
