STEAM Field Trip (2025–2026)

As part of the nano-certified courses under STEAM, a field trip was organized on February 20, 2026, for students of Grades 6 to 8. The initiative aimed to provide students with real-world exposure and hands-on learning experiences aligned with their respective lab specializations.

Students from different labs visited institutions and industries relevant to their fields of study:

  • Aerospace Lab students explored the Regional Institute of Aviation and the prestigious Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, gaining insights into aviation and space research.
  • Anatomy Lab students visited Dr. SMC SII Medical College and Hospital, where they learned about medical practices and healthcare systems.
  • Culinary Lab students experienced hospitality and culinary operations at Uday Samudra Beach Hotel.
  • AI and Robotics Lab students visited STEM Robotics to understand advancements in artificial intelligence and robotics.
  • Agriculture Lab students explored the Jawaharlal Nehru Tropical Botanical Garden and Research Institute, gaining knowledge about plant science and sustainable agriculture.

For students of Grades 9 and 11, the STEAM field trip was conducted on March 6, 2026, offering advanced exposure aligned with their specialized nano-certified courses.

Students visited institutions relevant to their respective domains:

  • Aerospace Lab students visited Pilot Creation Aviation Academy and the renowned Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, where they explored aviation training and space research.
  • Anatomy Lab students visited Sardar Krishna Homeopathy Medical College, where they gained insights into homeopathic medicine, clinical practices, and patient care.
  • AI and Robotics Lab students explored Srishti Innovative Techno Park and STEM Robotics, enhancing their understanding of emerging technologies and innovation.
  • Culinary Lab students visited Uday Samudra Beach Hotel, where they observed hospitality management and culinary practices.
  • Agriculture Lab students visited the Jawaharlal Nehru Tropical Botanical Garden and Research Institute, gaining practical knowledge in plant science and sustainable agriculture.

Each group of students had the opportunity to deeply engage with their respective domains, enhancing their practical knowledge and sparking curiosity. The field trip served as a valuable platform for experiential learning, helping students connect classroom concepts with real-world applications.
