A Health Awareness Program was successfully organized at Excel Group of Schools. The event was held at the Philosophers Hall at 10:00 a.m. The program aimed at promoting the importance of health and wellness among the teaching and non-teaching staff. A free health checkup camp was arranged in collaboration with KIMS Hospital, Nagercoil.
Resource Person
The session was led by Dr. N. Bright Selva Kumar, who served as the resource person. Dr. Selva Kumar addressed the gathering and highlighted the need for regular health monitoring, lifestyle modifications, and preventive healthcare to ensure long-term well-being. His talk inspired the staff to take proactive measures in maintaining their health.


Health Checkup Details
A team of medical professionals from KIMS Hospital conducted the health screenings. The following tests were included in the checkup:
- Height and Weight Measurement – to assess basic physical parameters.
- Body Mass Index (BMI) – to evaluate healthy weight status.
- Blood Sugar Test – to identify risks of diabetes.
- Blood Pressure Monitoring – to check for hypertension or related concerns.
